kde-telepathy software package provides metapackage for installing all the KDE Telepathy components, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kde-telepathy
kde-telepathy is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kde-telepathy package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kde-telepathy *
You will get with kde-telepathy package name, version, architecture and description in a table
